Oh man this reminds me of a customer I had a few weeks ago. He told me that NO ONE in the U.S. knows how to make a true americano. Even the SMALLEST villages in France know that an americano is equal parts drip coffee and espresso. I've never heard anyone else ask for 2oz. of espresso with 2oz. of drip, and it is no where on this diagram. Interesting...And I am so with you, coffee is a top priority on Mondays.
